I suppose I rated it slightly higher than you and found the transition between the three tones a bit easier, and indeed between the 6 essays. I find the integration between psychotherapy and dharma fascinating, this is another good try. I liked it that Langan is at White, which is the Interpersonalist school, founded by Sullivan and Fromm. He mostly just referenced his psychoanalytic tradition, but it is the one I'm most familiar with (though I go to ICP). I know less about his Buddhist tradition, but could feel his practice in the writing. Thank you for the review. When I typed in Robert Langan today, this reivew is the first link on Google.
