Bodhipaksa, thanks for pinging my blog on meditation, mental practice and Michael Phelps. I will continue to address the meditation discussion vis a vis brain/mind/body training as we enter a new fall cycle — and speak to the benefits of meditation and mental practice for those suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury.

Hope you had a chance to scroll down my blog archive to see that my interests in meditation come from years of dedicated Buddhist studies in the Mahayana, Vajrayana and Theravadan schools. After two decades of academic study, I took refuge in 1996 with Ajan Amaro and enjoy the richness of bringing my Buddhist practice to bear on my deep ties to my Jewish lineage and studies. (I come from a long line of rabbis.)

I will be sure to note your blog and website on blog and institute newsletter.

Lovely to be in alliance.

May the Breath Be With You!

Yours in dhamma,

Dr. G.

I enjoy bringing attention to blogs that deal with meditation. I just wish I had more time to browse the many blogs I come across when researching the zeitgeist posts!
