The third entry (stuck at a meditation camp) calls to mind both a unique feeling of curious inquiry and the statement by Alexander Gray that “…life is a series of acts of choice, and each choice is at the same time a renunciation.”

I found that entry particularly interesting because it reflects a culture where Buddhist parents drag reluctant kids to Buddhist camp. I guess that’s something we’ll see more as Buddhism spreads in the west.
