Hi. Great article! I'm finding myself also drawn to the powerful influx of Vajrapani. Myself, I was also introduced in my first retreat and "his" influx has been having tremendous power in my life. But I just wanted to point a detail out: usually yidams or meditational deities have three forms: peaceful, joyful and wrathful. In this case, Vajrapani, he also has three forms and this article is focused only on the wrathful form. If you see the peaceful form, for example, he is white and has a very different "attitude", but anyway of course his root quality seems to be linked to "power" and everything Vajradevi mentions in this article. Great piece of writing! Cheers! MFC

When I was younger and had problems getting up to meditate in the morning I used to use the Vajrapani mantra to help me get out of bed. I usually found myself on my feet before the end of the first mantra!

Last winter I returned to ski racing after taking time off due to an injury. The first time I was in the starting gate, ready to ski the course, my fears of falling and hurting myself came up. I immediately thought of Vajrapani and how he would help me overcome my inner demons and my fear. I started chanting his mantra and everything looked completely different. I skied the course with confidence. When I am confronted with fear, whether it is on the ski hill, at work or somewhere else in my life, calling on Vajrapani and his strength helps me get through.
