What a useful article! I found myself particularly drawn to the description of the complex nature of the anger the author felt. Often I find it so easy to miss the multi-dimensional nature of my reactions. It's so easy to think I know what I'm feeling - eg: 'I'm angry' - but if I can somehow take some time to sit with the emotion and let it blossom, and observe it's interplay with my reasoning then it seems to be so much more than one label can describe. Yes, it may be anger, but it may be sadness, and even under that it can be a desperate wish for things to other than they are. Resistance to sitting with my resistance to how things are can be so hard to see. And - I wonder if we do need some clarity and acceptance around 'how things are' before we can act with some degree of wisdom in the world
