When you hear the word meditation, what are your thoughts? You may not have any idea that it is something commonly practiced in the U.S. and in Northeast Ohio. Meditation is perceived by many to be something religious, or that only monks do on top of a mountain where they sit alone with their thoughts.
“I can help you find your inner guru in Ohio,” said chuckling Green resident and meditation teacher, Eden Kozlowski. She referred to the movie just released on DVD, “Eat, Pray, Love” starring Julia Roberts. The movie is based on the book by the same name written by Elizabeth Gilbert.
It talks about Gilbert’s experience as she searched for her destiny across Italy, India and Indonesia after a painful divorce. She went to Italy to find the enjoyment of nourishment, to India to find the power of prayer and to Bali to find the meaning of true love. During her travels she finds the power of meditation.
Kozlowski said you do not need to travel across the globe to find your inner peace you can do so wherever you live.
